The 2013 Nor Cal Clash in August

The fifth annual Nor Cal Clash will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday August 25 at El Cerrito High School. This one-game event will have elite players from Northern California in the class of 2014 playing against elite players in the class of 2015.

The purpose of the event is to help promote Nor Cal basketball and its elite prospects. A report on the event will be done by the Hoop Review scouting service in addition to NorCal Preps and CaliforniaPreps plus other media outlets.

Mike Booker of El Cerrito and Devon Jones of Capital Christian will be the opposing coaches.

The list of players participating in the event will be announced on August 5.

In last year's matchup, the 2014 guys topped their elders as Grant High's Cameron Oliver led with 19 points. Aaron Gordon totaled 41 points plus 14 rebounds for the 2013-ers.
