The San Francisco State Gators headed to the Big Apple this weekend and played St. John's evenly on Saturday before falling just short 82-80.
Nefi (Skyline High) Perdomo went for 23 points (4-7 from long distance) and Max (Bellarmine College Prep) Fodor finished with 10 points.
As a team, the Gators shot 32-62 overall and 9-16 from three-point range.
