On Sunday, Pacific welcomed Western Illinois to Stockton and proved rude hosts to the tune of 66-52. Tiger frontcourter Tony (Cosumnes River College) Gill led with 19 points while backcourter Sama (Santa Rosa Junior College) Taku contributed 15 points, six boards plus four assists. Freshman guard T.J. Wallace added five points and three rebounds in 19 minutes.
Undefeated new Head Coach Ron Verlin now has wins over Nevada, UC Irvine and now Western Illinois to start his tenure.
