* Here's a link to all the matchups
* Darren Sabedra looks at some of the pairings.
* Derek Wilson provides a look at the matchups from a Marin County perspective.
* John Murphy does ditto with a CCS point of view.
* From Jim Seimas: "boys hoops: D-IV, Santa Cruz (19-8) gets No. 5 seed and a home game Wednesday at 7 p.m. vs. No. 12 Riverbank (23-4)"
The Cardinals are backcourt oriented and Riverbank's top talent is guard Rolaun Dunham.
* Out of the Open Division, it's Newark Memorial versus Modesto Christian and it's just impossible to go against Coach Craig Ashmore in this one. The same with Archbishop Mitty and El Cerrito as Monarch Coach Tim Kennedy is a great tactician. But it's near impossible to envision anyone but Bishop O'Dowd and Capital Christian meeting up again (it was 86-60 BOD on January 20 in Berkeley) and the Dragons just have too many weapons as well as the best one. BOD versus Mater Dei (if it happens) ought to be a pay-per-view televised event.
* In Division One, the guess for the Upper Bracket is Monte Vista eventually facing San Ramon Valley and Jesuit taking care of the Lower Bracket.
* Absolutely no idea in Division Two so let's call it for Folsom.
* Ditto for D III so let's hop aboard the Ferrari bandwagon.
* In Division IV, the youth of Moreau Catholic are now a full season older and they are going to be difficult to top. Half Moon Bay is the sentimental choice.
* With Division V, how about St. Joseph Notre Dame?
Miss Cleo consulted in these selections, so be forewarned!
