Building a championship culture starts with a long-term vision. When you take over a program you should have an idea of who you want to be. What is your program going to be about? What do you want people to think about when they see your team play? Great programs that achieve consistent success have an identity, and you want to start with an identity for your program. When you think of North Carolina you think of a high-powered fast break attack. Michigan State and you think of toughness and physical play. Louisville and you think of relentless defensive pressure. The first question you should ask about your program is what do you want the identity of your team to be?
