Ponderosa High's Chris Snyder is currently on an official visit to Regis University, a Jesuit college located in Denver. The coach there, Lonnie Porter, holds the Colorado state record for most victories as a college basketball coach in Colorado history with 505 wins plus the basketball team owns a 95 percent graduation rate among its players.
The two tallest players currently on the Regis roster stand 6-foot-7 and both are seniors so it appears there will be playing time available to be earned.
There is another northern California player on the roster as 6-foot-5 Kyle King, out of Cardinal Newman High, is a freshman on the squad.
Regis is a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
A 6-foot-9 frontcourter, Snyder sports a 4.0 grade point average and is also soon to be heading out to St. Mary's of Texas (San Antonio) on another official recruiting visit.
