Clint Parks tweeted: "As a coach/mentor you can never want it for the kid more then he wants it that's one of the hardest things to accept for me."
Amen. As fans, too many of us see a player and think 'if he only added this or that to his game and got better' -- thinking the needed improvement (and therefore a scholarship) was in reach while simultaneously having no idea if the kid has any motivation in working harder. It must kill coaches who witness this lack of drive up close and personal.
