Lassen finishes 3-1

Lassen College looked ready for the season to begin as Coach Devin Aye's Cougars posted an impressive 3-1 record in the Chabot College Showcase on Friday and Saturday.

Itemizing each pairing:

* Lassen College 77 - Diablo Valley College 58 (this was a surprising point differential)

* Lassen College 82 -  Merritt College 80 (this was a proverbial barnburner, going back and forth)

* Lassen College 59 - Allan Hancock College 62 OT (another heated one and it familial with (Devin) Aye versus (Tyson) Aye)

* Lassen College 65 - Ohlone College 59 (new Coach Scott Fisher's squad has a couple of foreign player holdovers from John Peterson's last team)
