"Brian Beauchemin, the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Glendale Community College for the past 35 years, will not coach this season due to impending hip surgery.
Beauchemin, who is No. 3 in the state with 592 career wins, will be replaced this season on an interim basis by longtime assistant coach Vigen Jilizian. The Vaqueros were 22-5 last season and advanced to the second-round of the Southern California Regional Playoffs."
