Contra Costa College Men's Basketball: "The #8 Comets won a shootout in their home opener 101-92 over #18 Los Medanos College. After a slow start the Comets found their footing and used their 51% shooting to control the game. G Anthony Sullen led 6 Comets in double figures with 24 points and 4 rebounds. Deonte Smith, Jeremiah Alston, Larry Wickett, and Rae Jackson added 13 points apiece. PG Bobby Syvanthong also had an excellent floor game with 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 13 assists....GO COMETS!!!!!"
