Daily Republic: "Hosea Barfield poured in 22 points and the Solano Community College men’s basketball team defeated Yuba for the first time in coach John Nagle’s tenure with a 78-73 Bay Valley Conference victory, Thursday.
“Since I’ve been at Solano we had not beaten Yuba,” said Nagle, who’s in his 13th season as coach of the Falcons, “so I’m pretty excited for this group.”
Brandon Davis netted 18 points and Arash Aliyar added 14 as Solano (5-9, 2-0 BVC) broke away from a halftime tie at 35 for the victory."

Kevin Scannell: "The Yuba College men's team fell to Solano, 78-73, in the early game. The 49ers and Falcons were tied at 35-35 at the half, but Solano hit five second-half 3-pointers and went 10 of 15 from the free-throw line to pull away for the win. Yuba hit two 3-pointers in the game and finished 9 of 19 from the free throw line.
Jojo Zamora and Jihad Woods led the 49ers (8-9, 1-1) with 16 points. Vasilije Saraba had 13 points and Erik Scheive and Xavier Sims each finished with 10 points."
