CCC Men's Basketball: "The Comets won a hard fought battle against College of Marin 86-81 this afternoon. It was a back and forth contest which had both teams taking small leads throughout the game with the Comets coming through with clutch shots down the stretch. G Bobby Syvanthong led the Comets with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists. G Anthony Sullen added 14 points and 6 rebounds. Joining them in double figures was Rae Jackson with 12, Dwight Wilson with 11 and Deonte Smith and Larry Wickett with 10 apiece. The Comets record is now 15-6 with a 4-1 record in Bay Valley Conference play... GO COMETS!!!!"
