It took two overtimes before host Chico State emerged as a 75-70 victor over Sonoma State on Saturday. Tops in scoring for the Wildcats were Corey Silverstrom with 21 and sophomore teammate Jalen (Castro Valley High) McFerren tallied 18. Robert Duncan again missed the game.
Leading in points for the Seawolves were David (Portland/Marin Catholic) Ahern with 21 points while James (Northern Colorado/Arroyo High) Davis contributed 15.
