Brandon Tatera on three of the Soldiers

CaliforniaPreps.com staff writer Brandon Tatera recently wrote this (a Rivals sub is required) after viewing the EYBL tourney in southern California this weekend:

Jabari Bird and Langston Morris Walker F of the Oakland Soldiers are two of the many talented Soldier wings. Bird is an athletic wing whose weekend was capped off with a huge tip jam. Walker is a rising senior who is both unselfish and tough on both ends of the floor.

Ashley came up big this weekend in close games. He was clutch for the Soldiers as he led them in both points and rebounding in the closest game against the Albany City Rocks. Ashley's ability to handle the ball and play on the perimeter at times is yet another reason for why he is so dominant.
