Shola Diop, a 6-foot-10 Aussie import, has signed with Winthrop University. Count him as the fourth player from Coach Doug Cornelius' squad to go D-1.
Winthrop won the Big South Conference in 2008 and 2010, thus making a pair of Big Dance appearances.
