A Washington and Desmond Simmons update

Based on PURE SPECULATION (no inside sources or even a reading of the proverbial tea leaves) but if Washington doesn't start getting serious and soon, how hot will Lorenzo Romar's seat become? UW is 5-5 and just lost at home by 19 to South Dakota State. It's beginning to look like combining Washington, UCLA and USC will produce a decent team.
