Cabrillo outlasts Hartnell, win 63-60

From the Cabrillo College basketball site:
The Cabrillo College Seahawks held on tonight to beat Hartnell College in Salinas 63-60. Cabrillo (13-6, 4-0) jumped out early on the Panthers tonight only to have Hartnell (8-9, 2-1) storm right back and tie the game at 19 with 6:13 to go in the half. Cabrillo went into the locker room up 31-28.

In the second half, it was the Colin Gruber show as he scored 20 of his game high 24 points. The Seahawks jumped all over Hartnell as they extended their lead to as many as 12 midway through. However, Hartnell would not go away and slowly kept creeping their way back into the game. The Seahawks managed to hold them off connecting on their free throw attempts down the stretch to win the game.

Colin Gruber lead all scorers with 24 points. Dalton Noble and Phoenix Bills scored 9 respectively. CJ Grigg and DK White each scored 8 as well.
+++++
 Kyle Baird led Hartnell with 20 points while Billy Giles finished with 16. Mitch Johnson and Brad Kohler each had nine for the Panthers.
