DeAndre Medlock earns honor

Former Clovis West/Fresno City star earns honor

BYU-Hawaii junior center DeAndre Medlock (Clovis West High/Fresno City College) was named PacWest player of week for games Dec. 31-Jan. 6.

Medlock led the Seasiders to victories over Holy Names and Notre Dame de Namur, averaging 26.0 points on 73.5% shooting, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Taylor and ex-Fresno State player Bracken Funk, also at BYU-Hawaii, were among the conference's Fantastic 15 stars of the week.
