Mareno remains back east

NERR is reporting that former Redwood High wing Matt Mareno has given a verbal to Worcester, Massachusetts-based Assumption College. The Greyhounds earned a 2013 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament at-large bid this past season.

Mareno spent a post-grad year at Cushing Academy in 2012-13.
