Out of Jesuit High, Okugo averaged 12.7 points and 6.3 assists a game this season for Coach Doug Cornelius at Yuba College, shooting 38% overall, 32% from long distance and 82% at the foul line. He earned First Team All State status as well as Most Valuable Player honors in the Bay Valley Conference.
Grand Canyon University is joining the Western Athletic Conference as of July of this year.
