Brian McInnis writes after viewing the Rainbow Warriors scrimmage:
PG Quincy Smith — 4 points, 2-3 FG, 0-0 3FG, 0-0 FT (injured in first period)
"Smith landed hard on his back while converting a layup early on. He hobbled off and watched the rest of the scrimmage on the side. Arnold thought he might have had a flare-up of his back problem from last season, but didn’t know for sure. If he misses much time, Bobbitt is in the driver’s seat for the starting PG job."
PG Roderick Bobbitt — 8 points, 4-10 FG, 0-5 3FG, 0-0 FT
"Bobbitt wasn’t shooting well, but had several nice steals, a couple in the open court. You could see why he topped the JUCO ranks in that stat last year."
