CCC Men's Basketball: "The Comets brought themselves one step closer to a Bay Valley Conference title today, as they won a tough road game at College of Marin 86-81. With a lot at stake, it was hard fought game on both ends. G Bobby Syvanthong led the Comets with 8 points, 10 rebounds, and 14 assists while Big Man Deonte Smith added 17 points and 8 rebounds. The Comets win pushes them to 20-6 on the season with a 9-1 record in Bay Valley Conference play...GO COMETS!!!"
Nick Winstead: "Marin falls to Contra Costa, 86-81. Noah Everly led all scorers with 26, George Johnson finishes with 25. Brandon Barrett finishes with 19."
Everly shot 10-15 overall, 3-5 from long distance and 3-4 at the foul line. Johnson shot 11-14 overall.Barrett had 10 boards for a double-double.
