Luke Nelson made a pair of free throws with two seconds remaining to give UC Irvine the win over host UC Davis on Saturday.
"...Darius Graham drove the lane and kicked it out to an open Siler Schneider, who hit a 3-pointer from straight away with 18 seconds left to pull UC Davis within 60-59. After UC Irvine was called for a five-second violation, Schneider hit a floater in the lane with 14.3 seconds left for a 61-60 lead.
UC Irvine missed a 3-pointer but the loose ball went out of bounds off of UC Davis with 2.1 seconds left. The Aggies were whistled for a questionable foul on the inbound play and Nelson converted at the stripe.
Graham's half-court shot at the buzzer hit the front rim..."
Josh Fox was bigtime for the Aggies as he totaled 20 points, nine rebounds and six assists.
