Sequoias 76, Cabrillo 70 OT

Down in Visalia last night, College of Sequoias used an 11-6 overtime period to best Cabrillo College 76-70. Big Dida Periera shot just 5-15 from the floor but 14-17 at the foul line to lead with 26 points. He added nine rebounds and a pair of blocked shots. Teammate Simon Krajovic added 13 points, nine boards, three assists and three steals.

Cabrillo received 27 points from guard Solomon Taylor but he shot 31 times to achieve that total. Frontcourter Brett Reed achieved a 12 point, 12 rebound double-double.

The biggest differential was COS going 24-33 at the foul line while Cabrillo was 14-16.
