The Hawks, who improved to 18-9 overall, finished 8-4 in the conference. Their previous high for conference victories was seven when they went 7-5 in 2012.
Ranked #16 in the state and #8 in Northern California, LPC now awaits the announcement of its postseason seeding and matchup. That is scheduled to occur Monday when the Northern California and Southern California regional playoff brackets are released.
By virtue of its top-3 finish in the conference, the Hawks are a solid bet to make the playoffs for the second straight season and for the fifth time in the team’s 10-year history.
Friday’s victory was its second over Skyline (6-19, 2-10) this season. The win was actually the fourth on Skyline’s court this season as LPC won three games to capture the Skyline Tournament title in December."
