It took three extra periods in The City before a winner was declared on Saturday and that was host San Francisco State 80-78 over Sonoma State. Warren (Cabrillo College) Jackson led the victors with 16 points and teammate Floyd (Yuba College/Highlands High) Wormley produced 10 points plus nine rebounds and six assists, the latter two figures team-bests.
For the Seawolves, it was James (Northern Colorado/Arroyo High) Davis out in front via 21 points, David (Portland/Marin Catholic) Ahern's 20 right behind and Luke (Santa Rosa JC/Del Oro High) Cochran owning a 17 point, 14 rebound double-double.
