Robbie Deutsch has posted his top three candidates for Coach of the Year.
Just to play devil's advocate: how about Virginia's Tony Bennett (16-1, 21-5) who has the top team in the ACC? Or Rick Barnes ((10-6, 21-8) when everyone had him being fired after what was expected to be another losing season? John Beilein (14-3, 22-7) after losing two players to the NBA draft and his center to injury?
And these are just the winning coaches/teams. Who did a terrific job getting the most out of his talent even if it isn't reflected in a conference championship?
