The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2013-14 Division II Men's Basketball All-America teams. William Jessup University junior forward Corey Clement earned All-American Honorable Mention Honors.There's, more, including a photo, here.
After transferring from Peninsula College, Clement made an immediate impact for the Warriors. The Las Vegas native averaged 18.3 points and 9.1 rebounds. He recorded 12 double-doubles this season. His season high came against California State-East Bay as he logged 30 points and 19 rebounds.
Clement, the California Pacific Conference Newcomer of the Year, set or tied seven school records. With a field goal percentage of 60.3%, Clement passed Cole Orick's record setting season of shooting 60.2% in 2003-04 season. His 18.3 points a game were second only to Ben Selvage who averaged 22 points a game in 2002-03.
