Congrats to Corey Clement

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2013-14 Division II Men's Basketball All-America teams. William Jessup University junior forward Corey Clement earned All-American Honorable Mention Honors.

After transferring from Peninsula College, Clement made an immediate impact for the Warriors. The Las Vegas native averaged 18.3 points and 9.1 rebounds. He recorded 12 double-doubles this season. His season high came against California State-East Bay as he logged 30 points and 19 rebounds. 

Clement, the California Pacific Conference Newcomer of the Year, set or tied seven school records. With a field goal percentage of 60.3%, Clement passed Cole Orick's record setting season of shooting 60.2% in 2003-04 season. His 18.3 points a game were second only to Ben Selvage who averaged 22 points a game in 2002-03.
