Moreau 61-52 over Salesian

In a battle of prayer and hoops power between the Congregation of Holy Cross and that of St. John Bosco, it was Moreau Catholic by nine versus Salesian High 61-52 today.

Winning Coach Frank Knight credited his off-the-bench guys -- "Our sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth guys won this game today" -- for securing the victory in making the Mariners are the NorCal Division IV champions.

It will now be Moreau versus Bishop Montgomery for the state title.
