Sandle hired at Loyola Marymount

Pat Sandle has been hired as an assistant by new LMU Coach Mike Dunlap.

His background:
"...Including last season at UCLA, Sandle now has eight years of coaching experience at the Div. I level, with additional stops at Fresno State (1991-92) and Saint Mary’s College, CA (1990-91). He also has two years at the Div. II level, coaching at Sonoma State from 1994-96. 

At the junior college level, Sandle coached at Santa Barbara City College (1989-90), Skyline College (1987-88) in San Bruno, CA and Cuesta College (1986-87) in San Luis Obispo, CA. Sandle also had a three- year stint at San Rafael, CA HS (1988-89/1992-94). 

He began his basketball career in Los Angeles at Crenshaw HS under legendary prep coach Willie West. As a 6-1 senior starting guard in 1980, Sandle helped lead Crenshaw to the City Championship. Following high school, he was a standout performer at Cuesta College (1980-82, earning All-California and All-North Coast Conference honors) and San Francisco State (1982-84, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1987 and is a member of the school’s Hall of Fame)..."
