In Dallas last night as part of the NIT, SMU handled UC Irvine 68-54 but it was close until about the eight minute mark of the second 20 minutes. The teams were at 31-30 in favor of the Anteaters at the half.
Will Davis enjoyed 11 rebounds and nine points for the OC squad while Chris McNealy finished with nine points plus four boards.
