In Houston last night, Rice handled UC Riverside 87-81 but Highlander Malik (Central Arizona College/Pleasant Grove High) Thames led his crew with 16 points and four assists. His efficient shooting: 4-7, 2-3, 6-7. Thames also grabbed four boards which tied for team best.
