In Tuesday's Causeway battle, it was host Sacramento State proving to be five points better than UC Davis at the buzzer. Cody Demps went to the line 19 times, making 14, on his way to a team best 22 points. The Hornets shot nine more free throws than their counterparts and made 10 more.
For the Aggies, Josh Fox grabbed a remarkable 18 rebounds while scoring 13 points and passing out three assists.
