Down in Lancaster, Valley City State University out of North Dakota took down Antelope Valley 89-83 on Friday as Nate (DeAnza College/Los Altos High) Vieira totaled six points and three assists for the victors.
For AVU, Joe (Diablo Valley College/De La Salle) McNiff finished with 16 points plus four assists in 24 minutes. He shot 4-6 from long distance.
