In Belmont, UC San Diego proved to be too talented for Holy Names University in winning 74-50 on Friday.
For the victors, Koree (Solano CC/Hawaii Pacific/Benecia High) Cox shot 5-7 on his way to 11 points and he also latched on to five rebounds. Grant (Monte Vista High) Jackson finished with an eight point, six rebound, three assist line.
Joshua (Bishop O'Dowd) Crum's 14 points and four assists both led HNU.
