CCC Men's Basketball: "The Comets clinched the Bay Valley Conference championship with a 66-62 victory over Merritt College!!! The Comets pulled ahead after a slow start and held off several Merritt runs to claim victory. F Jeremiah Alston led a balanced attack with 12 points and 9 rebounds while F Larry Wickett added 11 points and 8 rebounds. G Anthony Sullen also had 10 points and 4 steals. The Comets record now sits at 21-6 with a 10-1 record in Bay Valley Conference play... GO COMETS!!!"
