Los Medanos 85, Yuba 81

Appeal-Democrat game report: "The Yuba College men's basketball team cut a 14-point deficit down to four late, but was unable to complete the comeback in an 85-81 Bay Valley Conference loss to Los Medanos on Friday night in Pittsburg.
The Mustangs were lights out from behind the arc, knocking down 17 3-pointers in the game.

Yuba played with only seven players, with forward Jihad Woods missing the game with a knee injury. Woods, who 49ers coach Doug Cornelius called the team's MVP this season, was averaging 14 points and 14 rebounds in conference play.

Vasilije Saraba scored 23 points in the second half and finished with a team-high 30 points, and Erik Scheive chipped in with 16 points to lead the 49ers."
