Meet Will Ingersoll

Will Ingersoll, a freshman at College of the Redwoods, is another intriguing talent. At 6-foot-3 and out of McKinleyville High where he was honored as The Times-Standard 2014-15 Most Valuable Player of the Humboldt-Del Norte League, Ingersoll plays on a team with but just one player standing 6-foot-5 or taller. Call that a blessing, a curse or a combination thereof because this allows him room to operate inside the paint where he is very crafty but also requires some difficult matchups on the defensive end.

This season, he averaged 17.4 points on 53%,18% and 85% shooting respectively as well as 8.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists. These numbers should be generating at least a lot of DII interest.
