In the state capital last night, Sacramento State bested Montana 83-79 as two guards, sophomore Jiday (Archbishop Riordan) Ugbaja and freshman Jeff (Modesto Christian High) Wu, scored 18 points and 11 points respectively. Teammate Eric (Casa Roble High) Stuteville enjoyed a very solid game via 15 points, nine boards and four blocked shots.
A 54-36 second half powered the Hornets who trailed 43-29 after 20 minutes.
