This week's CalHiSports State Stats Stars of the Week

This week's Nor Cal honorees:

* Dylan Belquist (Los Gatos)
It’s the second stat star mention for this 6-foot-5 sophomore, who racked up 33 points to lead the Wildcats past Wilcox of Santa Clara 68-63. Belquist scored 12 of his points in the fourth quarter as Los Gatos overcame an 11-point deficit in the third quarter.

* Joey Calcaterra (Marin Catholic, Kentfield)
Behind their junior captain’s 38 points and a season-high 10 rebounds, the Wildcats beat San Rafael 60-57. Calcaterra has scored 40 points or more three times and just missed getting there a fourth time.

* Manuel Espinoza (Princeton)
One of the leading scorers so far in the CIF Northern Section at 23.1 ppg, Espinoza poured in 33 points in a 72-62 victory vs. Providence of Orland. He has had a season-high of 41 that game in a win vs. Elk Creek.

* Andre Kelly (Lincoln, Stockton)
He’s a 6-foot-5 sophomore who’s had some big outings for a team that’s been up-and-down in the Tri-City Athletic League. Kelly was certainly up in a 78-56 win last week against Tracy as he broke loose for 33 points and pulled down 13 rebounds.

* Elias King (Christian Brothers, Sacramento)
The Falcons’ 6-foot-7 sophomore has earned his way onto the stat star honor roll several times this season and did it once again this week as he scored 31 points and grabbed 13 rebounds during a 71-42 win over Casa Roble of Orangevale.

* Jared Milch (Terra Nova, Pacifica)
A 6-foot-4 senior who is now averaging more than 24 ppg, Milch turned the South San Francisco defense into mulch as he poured in a season-high 43 points in a 75-55 victory. Milch also had a 29-point outing to help the Tigers edge Oceana of Pacifica, 64-62.
