In a rivalry matchup, Humboldt State exited the Redwood Curtain for a matchup with Chico State but it was the host team prevailing 81-73. All five Wildcat starters finished in double figures: Jordan Semple 17, Giordano Estrada 16, Rashad Parker 15, Amir Carraway 12 and Sean Park 10.
