Claus more than 'en fuego' in Redwoods win

On Friday, even though it was only mid November, Justin Claus shot College of the Redwoods to a 100-98 double overtime victory over Skyline College.

Claus powers CR men to double overtime win

EUREKA – Justin Claus hit four threes in the second overtime period, including three on consecutive possessions, and the College of the Redwoods men’s basketball team pulled out a narrow victory over Skyline 100-98 in the first round of the Solano Tournament.

Redwoods (2-0) will take on Sacramento City today at 6 p.m. in the semifinal round.
Claus finished with a team-high 28 points and eight 3-pointers. Will Ingersoll had 20 points, and Toulie O’Rourke and DeAndre Winston each had 16 for CR.
