The loss here can be ameliorated because Fuller is planning on doing his LDS mission first.
Obviously quite the number of factors go into anyone's collegiate decision but Ogden, Utah over San Francisco doesn't happen every day. In the video below (he's the second player featured), Fuller talks about having more family and a greater comfort level in Utah:
