Johnson starting strong

On Sunday, Benedictine got by the University of Antelope Valley by one, 68-67. 6-foot-9 senior center Bobby Johnson, formerly of Dominican University and Castlemont High, tallied 17 points, seven boards and three blocked shots in the losing cause.

The previous night, Johnson posted a 17 point, seven rebound line in a loss to San Diego Christian.
