On Friday, it was host Nevada handling Dominican University 82-52 as Wolf Pack freshman Cameron Oliver finished with 11 points, six boards and three blocked shots in 17 minutes. It was 37-27 at the half.

Joe Santoro wrote: "Oliver is a 6-foot-8 A.J. West in training. At times he was the best player on the floor. OK, he was the best player on the floor for all 17 of his minutes. He had 11 points, six rebounds, two assists, three blocks and a steal in those 17 minutes, meaning he did something positive roughly every 2.3 seconds he was on the floor. He can jump out of the gym, run the floor and sell tickets and popcorn and show fans to their seats all at the same time. The possibilities of West and Oliver swatting opposing shots into the third row this year, pulling down rebounds and basically owning the lane are mouth watering..."
