* Ohlone College 68 - DeAnza College 66
Ohlone College Men's Basketball: "The Ohlone Renegades opened the season up on a positive note beating De Anza College 68-66. The Renegades played solid defense in the first half holding De Anza to just 27 points while putting up 39. Quick fouls and turnovers by the Renegades allowed De Anza to stay in the game in the 2nd half. It took the last possession for Ohlone to pull out the victory. Transfer sophomore Maurice Jordan hit the game-winner from about 12 feet out. He finished with 12 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds. Redshirt freshman guard Luis Ramirez scored a team high 17 points while Australian forward Blake McGlenchy pitched in 9 points. Freshman bigs Cameron Niven (Castro Valley HS) and James Schlesser (Dublin HS) cleaned up on the boards totaling 18 together. Returning forward Harison Bandabaila did a little bit of everything tonight. He had a team high 11 rebounds (7 offense), 2 steals, and 6 points..."
For the host Dons, sophomore guard Cooper (Willow Glen High) Wilson led with 11 points and also grabbed five boards.
