"MARQUESE CHRISS CONTINUES TO IMPROVE"...

Percy Allen: "It took about 20 games for Chriss to understand can’t play as aggressive as he would like. The UW freshman forward leads the nation with 12 disqualifications, but he hasn’t fouled in three of the past four games. More playing time for Chriss means more chances for him to showcase his skills. And Chriss is one of the most versatile freshmen in the Pac-12. He had it on display Wednesday while scoring 24 points – a personal best in Pac-12 play. (He tallied a career-high 29 points Nov. 19 against Mount St. Mary’s) Chriss dunked. He hit a three-pointer. He canned mid-range jumpers. He was 3 of 4 on free throws. And he did this against a stout front line that included 7-foot star Jakob Poeltl, a projected lottery pick in the 2016 NBA draft."
