"The regional seedings were released Monday afternoon determining matchups for the 2016 basketball regional championship tournaments. Round 1 of play begins on Wednesday, February 24. The Saddleback College (27-1) and City College of San Francisco men (27-1) earned the top seeds in their respective regions. They'll await the winners of Wednesday's games to determine their matchup.

Games are to be played at 7pm throughout the regional tournaments except in the case of a men's & women's doubleheader. Postconference play will take place on the following dates

Round 1 - Wednesday, February 24

Round 2 - Friday/Saturday, February 26/27

Round 3 - Wednesday, March 2

Round 4 - Saturday, March 5

State Championships - Friday-Sunday, March 11-13"
