Lamar Odom

Reading the many tributes to Lamar Odom, what becomes crystal clear is this is someone who never hurts anyone but himself. He has been financially generous beyond belief, kind to the nth degree even with strangers and a Job-ian like biblical figure. However, he has been unable to find and/or keep whatever ingredient is missing from having contentment in his life.

Rather than toss brickbats in his direction as some have unbelievably done, we should all simply be thankful with a 'there but for the grace of God go I' humility.
