Talkin' Crisshawn Clark

There is a most wanted man with an alliterative name in the Bay Area. Most days, he can be found in the vicinity of Farm Hill Boulevard, 4200 block, Redwood City. Yes, Crisshawn Clark, a 6-foot-4 sophomore at Cañada College has developed quite the number of suitors and is busy visiting some of them (Oregon right now).

So what are recruiters seeing when coming to a Colts game or practice?

First off, a member of the 2015 All State Tournament Team and someone coming off a frosh season consisting of 31 games, 31 starts, 15.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists per outing while shooting 47%, 36% and 61% respectively.

But minus Manny Martin, Israel Hakim, Rohndell Goodwin and Kenny Hatch, the bulls-eye target will be on Clark's back this fast-approaching season. Frankie Ferrari too but most definitely Clark so his varied skills set will be tested and needed each game.

In part, it consists of solid outside-shooting (would like to see him reach 40% accuracy though), a strong body that allows for dribble-drives to the hoop without being knocked off balance plus explosive leaping ability.

He very well could average a double-double in 2015-16 because the Colts are minus Martin's 9.5, Goodwin's 5.2 and Hakim's 5.0 boards per game but scouts will be more interested in Clark's consistency, leadership and overall effect on each game.
